Queer Britain

Queer Britain on Granary Square is the UK’s first museum of Queer culture and boasts a fascinating archive as well as the world’s first virtual reality museum dedicated to celebrating the stories and artwork of LGBTQIA+ people and preserving queer personal histories.

The space also houses a shop selling Queer Britain merchandise and a selection of books curated by Gay’s The Word,  with all profits going directly back to support the museum and charity. Queer Britain has already established itself as a safe space for LGBTQIA+ people and a beacon within the cultural zeitgeist.

Entry to the museum will always be FREE, but donations to the charity are welcome. The museum is fully accessible via lifts and ramps and will be open from Wednesdays to Sundays from 12 – 6pm.
