Brunch at Spiritland King's Cross

Brunch at Spiritland

At Spiritland on Stable Street the breakfast line up is stellar: start your day with a deliciously moreish chia pot with oat milk, buttermilk pancakes with poached apricots or a shakshuka with chorizo. Wash it all down with their own Bloody Mary with kimchi infused vodka, mirin and gochujang or an Espresso Martini with PX cask rum and fig leaf liqueur to wake you up. Eat and drink alongside DJs playing on an immaculate soundsysten.

If you’re around later in the day, you can expect an interesting experience at the bar with an ever-evolving selection of beers, wines, cocktails and a vast whisky list alongside DJs.

This is a café by day, bar by night, all centred around a deep passion for music. The sound system is billed as one of the best in the world, and the music programming is brilliantly eclectic. You’ll hear everything from electronica, country, jazz & soul every night of the week and during brunch at the weekends.

The cocktails are uncomplicated and well-executed – gin is paired with a clementine and verbena cordial, whisky is deepened with cocoa butter. There is a small but considered wine and beer list. The star of the drinks menu is a vast whisky list curated by whisky legend Dave Broom.

Try: Cocoa Butter Old Fashioned: Cocoa Butter Chivas 12, walnut & bitters.
