You’ll have to look hard to find this subterranean bar hidden beneath Happy Face pizza, but once you do, you won’t want to leave. Shake off the working day at the popular Aperitivo Hour from 5.30pm – 7pm. You can get expertly mixed cocktails served with little plates of delicious cicchetti for less than a tenner.
If it’s dancing you’re after, Friday nights at SUPERMAX are all about the party. DJs spin Italian-influenced disco under the mirror ball until the early hours. Decor-wise, there’s a distinctly retro flavour, all curved edges, sumptuous fabrics, intimate booths and sultry low lighting.
