Simple, fun and easy on the pocket, this place should spark smiles all round
Grace Dent, The Guardian

Happy Face’s signature dough is fermented for 72 hours, making a light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious base. There are a handful of antipasti on the menu: piles of crispy calamari fritti, thin slices of salty cured meat, and hot fries.

For the main event, there are 12 tempting wood-fired pizzas to choose from, with all the classics, Margherita, salsiccia, funghi, and pepperoni. You can also choose your own toppings (vegan cheese, olives, rocket, aubergine) from the charmingly named Extra Happiness selection.

Happy Face is flooded with light thanks to the tall glass frontage. Inside is simple, fresh and airy. There are 130 covers, with a mix of high and low seating and a central bar clad in green marble. The pizzeria shares a building with Everyman Cinema, perfect for a pre- or post-flick treat.

Fancy enjoying your pizza alfresco? Find the super cute Happy Face pizza truck in Lewis Cubitt Square, with tonnes of seating and sister venue Spiritland providing the cocktails.
