Founder and eponymous Creative Director Tom Dixon is a restless innovator who rose to prominence in the mid-1980s, before becoming Creative Director at Habitat in the late 90s and rejuvenating the brand whilst maintaining Terence Conran’s vision. With an aesthetic that is intrinsically inspired by the brand’s British roots, the products are internationally recognised and appreciated for their pioneering use of materials and techniques. Tom Dixon has hubs in London, Milan, Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hangzhou.
Self-taught designer Tom Dixon brings his iconic work, including the S Chair and Melt pendant light, to the Bagley Walk Arches at Coal Drops Yard. This gorgeous canalside interiors shop and gallery is also home to The Coal Office restaurant and roof terrace – a collaboration between acclaimed chef Assaf Granit and Tom Dixon. The store includes a lighting shop, haberdashery, furniture shop, perfumery and gift shop.
