Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children

The innovative bi-lingual school

The award-winning Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children is co-located with King’s Cross Academy primary school in The Plimsoll Building. The purpose-built and designed facility provides a state-of-the-art learning environment.

The two schools enjoy a close partnership at all levels. The Academy teaches British Sign Language, and shared spaces give the children the chance to mix.
