Porte Noire boasts one of the largest fine wine tasting rooms in London, and imbibers can choose from a collection of around 800 wines. Options range from the very rare to much more accessible wines on tap.
Food centres around a brasserie-style menu, with rich and hearty meat dishes, alongside an array of delicious seafood. Or opt for a selection of artisanal cheese and charcuterie – the perfect accompaniment to the wine.
Porte Noire is located on the ground floor of Gasholders, the stunning building that sits inside the iconic Victorian-era gasholder frames.
Inside, the sumptuous space is softly lit and deceptively cosy, given how much it contains. As well as a wine shop, Porte Noire houses a 70-seater wine bar, dining room, and outdoor space overlooking the canal.
