Tortillas are the hero of the menu, handmade fresh each day from Mexican corn.
Order a single portion filled with prawn, chipotle chicken, and mushroom queso, or opt for a sharing plate: slow-cooked meat or fish ready to scoop into soft tortillas and topped with sweet, smokey, or fiery salsa.
To drink, there are refreshing margaritas, mezcal, and tequila alongside wine and beer. ‘Mexicanise’ your beer with a salt rim, Worchestershire sauce and tabasco.
Dining is all alfresco at Plaza Pastor, with a centrally-located steel bar and open kitchen.
Much like the decor inside Casa Pastor, the furniture here is a colourful splash of kitschy Mexicana. Come with a crowd for cocktails, stay for the buzzy atmosphere and infectious Latin beats.
