The all-day brunch menu has more than you’d expect from a coffee shop, with classic avocado on sourdough, fruit, chia, granola pots, and filled croissants, plus an array of cakes.
The vibe switches to a wine bar in the early evening, with ambient lighting and a tailored playlist. As well as the wine list, there are craft beers and cocktails; and a dedicated evening menu of bar snacks, sharing platters, meat and cheese boards.
Although it is glass-fronted on two sides, the atmosphere inside is buzzy and intimate. You can sit downstairs opposite the counter and watch the baristas at work, or head up the stairs to take a seat on the cosy cushioned bench on the mezzanine level.
There are a handful of outdoor tables, taking in those glorious iron columns and the lovely Pancras Square.
