Hato Store is the concept and lifestyle store from Hato Studio. A renowned design studio which explores connection and perception through creativity, technology and production, which it runs alongside its sister company, Hato Press.
The Hato Store brings together all the elements that form the Hato DNA, from prints to clothing, Japanese crafts, homewares and accessories. Founded on the principle of play, the carefully curated collection has been specifically chosen to make shoppers think differently and to bring an element of fun to everything. Striving to source interesting and new products by unique makers and brands.
Hato Store is a modern, glass-fronted space in which printed t-shirts hang alongside playful socks, 1960s art prints, books, magazines and contemporary homewares. Everything in the store is imbued with a sense of creativity.
Hato’s Japanese heritage plays a large role in the sourcing and quality found in the products and books stocked, working with makers from Yoko Yamono to Chie Chihiro to produce exclusive glassware and ceramics.
Hato studio’s connection to food is evident in the form of crockery, glassware, and cookbooks including Hato press’s own Cooking with Scorcese and Studio Cookbook, as well as a selection of magazine-style cooking publications.
Sustainability
Hato Store now stock knitwear from Waste Yarn Project, a brand that repurposes waste yarn from the fashion industry to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
