Earl of East is home to the best independent brands across fragrance, homeware and accessories. Starting life as a market stall in 2014, Earl of East has grown to include two bricks and mortar stores in London, an online shop, and its own line of home fragrance and bathing products that are made sustainably in London. Visit Earl of East and you’ll find a curated selection of independent brands and like-minded designers sharing shelves with their own range of accessible home fragrances. But it’s not just about shopping. Over the years, the stores have become creative destinations, holding candle workshops and events and serving coffee and conversations to a growing community both on and offline.
Workshops: Earl of East’s creative workshops include candle-making, terrazzo tiling, terrarium building and bouquet arranging.
Earl of East’s own collection of home fragrance, candles and bathing products are sustainably made, and their homeware items are created from eco-friendly materials that are kinder to the environment, such as aluminium, glass, wood, organic textiles and repurposed plastics. The store also champions independent designers and makers that create small batches of their products, incurring less waste.
They’re independent: the brand started life as an enthusiastic side-hustle selling hand-poured soy candles from a stall in east London’s Netil market.
