From Bombay with love
For most, Dishoom needs little introduction. This popular Indian eatery has been bringing a taste of old Bombay to Londoners for over a decade, and still, diners queue rain, hail or shine to get a table.

Breakfast at Dishoom is a real treat and the now-legendary Bacon Naan Roll is a great way to start your day. Or if you’re really hungry, The Big Bombay is the Dishoom twist on a fry up.
The all-day menu features a signature mix of traditional Parsi appetisers and Southern Mumbai street food. House Black Daal, Chole Puri, Chicken Ruby and Spicy Lamb Chops are all firm favourites. For every meal served, Dishoom donates a meal to a child who would otherwise go hungry.
Housed in a Victorian warehouse, the decor takes inspiration from the railway cafés of old Bombay, with retro artwork and vintage 19th-century furniture adding a glorious sense of nostalgia. Set over three floors, there’s a mezzanine and loft overlooking the open kitchen and a 1930s speakeasy-style cocktail bar in the basement. Here the “daru-wallah” mixes some wonderful concoctions in the dimly lit space.
The outdoor seating section – or verandah, as Bombay natives would say – is at the restaurant entrance on Stable Street.
